Two innovative Black owned companies are leading the way in innovative spaces and working to evolve the future of work through technology. Artificial intelligence and DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) are being combined in partnership formed by CEO’s Dr. Cheryl Ingram of Inclusology and Jason Brooks of Harknes.ai. Dr. Cheryl Ingram aka Dr. CI, is a very successful entrepreneur, blogger, content creator and author who has dedicated her professional career top solving issues of discrimination and oppression in workplaces and educational institutions. Dr. CI is the CEO and founder of Inclusology (a SaaS company that is building an all in one DEI management platform, the company’s website is under construction and will be completed in January of 2022.) and Diverse City Group (a diversity, equity, and inclusion consulting firm working with organizations across the world). Cheryl also owns CourageUS Productions and all three of her companies are based in Omaha, NE and operate globally.
Jason Brooks is the founder of harkness.ai, an early-stage startup whose vision is to empower everyone — on every team — to meaningfully contribute their voice at work, in school, or in any other group — free from friction, fear, or bias.
In October 2021, Jason founded harkness.ai with the vision of empowering everyone — on every team — to meaningfully contribute their voice at work, in school, or in any other group — free from friction, fear, or bias. With Jason’s experience in education and his dedication to his vision, harkness.ai is well on its way to fulfilling its mission. Dr. CI founded Inclusology in November of 2017 in Seattle, Washington and has continued to build on her vision to make the workplace equitably representative and safe for all people. The two founders met in Pharrell’s Black Ambition Accelerator and were in the same pod led by Colin Coggins.
Cheryl has been training and coaching in the area of diversity, equity, and inclusion for 22+ years. Jason taught Mandarin, Spanish & mathematics for 18 years, before transitioning into AI. During the COVID-19 lockdowns, he tracked student interaction by hand and quickly saw the potential for artificial intelligence to fuel better meeting performance.

During Black History month, February 2023, the two companies will launch their first DEI seminars where Inclusology will be integrating Harkness.ai into a two part series of DEI workshops to track interactions based on identity.
